GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The vessel is a non-self-propelled mooring positioning shallow draft pipelay crane vessel,design life is 25 years. Pipe laying water depths will be up to 40 m. The firing line will be fitted in longitudinal direction of the starboard on main deck. On the stern a stinger will be fitted. Pipe laying speed of the vessel: for laying diameter 20″, wall thickness 12.7 mm monolayer heat preservation cement counterweight pipeline in 40 meters water depths, the operating speed will be approximately 2.5 kilometers/days. Pipe storage on the port of the main deck will comprise up to 2000t.Pipe handling and transfer will be performed with pipe handling crane, rollers and conveyors. On the stern a 400t(fixed) / 350t(fully revolving) offshore crane will be fitted. Accommodation rating of the vessel will be 200 persons on board. On top of the accommodation a heli-deck rated for at least Bell 212 type of helicopter shall be provided. Operational area of the vessel will be primarily Bohai shallow sea area.
