The vessel converted from a bulk cargo to a 10000ton asphalt tanker. To carry out the conversion work for this large size asphalt tanker was the first happened in China, even in Asian. Without any related reference, our yard got through difficulties, then finished fabrication work of 3 individual tanks and hot oil pipe. Moreover, the completion work for installation of 1100ton steel plate, 13000m pipe system and 22000m cable had been completed in 3 months by yard. Therefore, this conversion job is high difficult, but short time finished, which gained upgraded conversion ability for HPS.
